- let students find tools to use (sites & devices)
- metacognitive reflection (English)
- Social Science Research Plan Template (LG2) - Summative
- generate a clear research question and get teacher approval (formative step at beginning of process)
- use Kip Kinkel Case Study as an exemplar
- class collaborates to discuss how each social science would explain Kip’s actions
- then students find a person or event to focus on and create a research plan for
- teachers generate a list of ten potential topics
- could also use video Global Metal for this either as a formative task or the summative
- include peer feedback
- links to student blogging
